Current and Recent Projects
Sports Associated Solutions has supported
the Football Federation of Turkey and The Football Association of Ireland in implementing significant changes in Coach Education over the last Five years.
In 2005 Les Reed conducted a thorough review of the development of coaches and players for the Football Federation of Latvia.
On September 7th 2005 Les was on hand to witness a famous victory for Northern Ireland against England at Windsor Park Belfast following a 10 day consultancy with the National Team and Manager Lawrie Sanchez leading up to World Cup Qualifying matches against England and Azerbaijan winning both games.
The pair were together again when Fulham F.C. hired Les as Consultant coach to assist Lawrie on a five game basis to avoid relegation from the Premier League in April 2007 Premier League status was achieved with a victory against Liverpool. During this time Les conducted a thorough review of the Technical Side of the club and carried out the role of Technical Director for 12 months to set up what is essentilly the support structure behind the Head Coach now
Prior to this in 2005 SAS had been retained by Charlton Athletic on a long term consultancy agreement to service the clubs overseas development programmes and set up new initiatives. During this period we managed partnerships in Spain, Belgium,Finland,West Africa,The USA, South Africa and China.

Sports Associated Solutions teams up with Sportscode and E.Scout
SAS has teamed up with two of the leading technology providers in football to undertake research into how existing technology for statistical and video analysis can be used on a daily basis to improve the quality of coaching and to set objective KPI's for monitoring the effectiveness of coaching. AFC / CHINA !
In association with the Asian Football Confederation Les Reed will arrive in China in early November and remain until mid December to complete the first AFC Special Pro Diploma course in Kunming; Yu Nan Province in China for the Chinese Football Association.
The course will be attended by China's top professional and international coaches and run for five weeks.

UEFA / TURKEY /CROATIA
It is expected that our relationship with the Turkish F.A. and Croatian Federation will continue in 2010. Areas such as the UEFA Pro Diploma. National and Regional Academies and Youth Development will feature as part of the programmes.
PROFESSIONAL CLUBS
SAS has engaged with clients in the USA who are actively seeking to develop partnerships with English and other European clubs. We have also been approached by clubs this side of the Atlantic looking for relationships abroad. New FIFA and UEFA rulings and the points based immigration laws make the import of non EU players and under 18 EU players very difficult. However there are significant benefits to these relationships other than player recruitment that make them desirable.
